If you have been following our blog lately you should have seen that the blog post about FREE-411 has been topping our charts for very long. It is a service which lets you make absolutely free international calls although there is a limit of 5 minutes per call.
Today we are going to talk about a new service provider which lets you make free calls to Pakistan. Connect2Pk.com is an easy 'Phone to PC' & 'PC to PC' call solution to reduce your monthly telephone bills.
To use this service
(1) Register at connect2pk.com
(2) Download their software (soft phone) or set it in your smartphone using one of the many sip applications such as fring or siphone for iPhone.
(3) Provide a mapping number, i.e. the number you would want to connect with this account. You can only create one number per account but then you can create any number of accounts by using different email addresses.
(4) Ask your friends in Pakistan to dial the local number that you get after registration and activating your account.
That is it. When they call that number you will receive a call on your pc or smartphone. Talk as much as you want. They have a call limit of 15 minutes per call but there is no limit on number of calls you can make. Their website says that you can make a 45 minutes long call between 4-10 am (probably Pakistan time). But that offer is valid only till 31st August. Let us see what do they offer in the month of September. But hey! it is free and it is 15 minutes at the minimum which is double than Ringplus and triple than FREE-411.
